| Well, I'm bored and waiting for the next installation of Heroes to arrive, so I figured I'd write an entry. And amaze my whole two viewers. Not sure what to really write about... Just a truth, maybe? All right. I realize I am not the smartest of people out there, though I am by no means stupid. There are just people out there that are certainly smarter than I am. However, I hold the belief that intellegence, or I suppose education would be a better word, alone will not get you anywhere in life. In fact, I would venture a thought that there are many times that hard work and dedication will get your further than education. Also, what does education do for you if you are unable to relate to people? In this society, thank God, we are still driven by personal interaction. A look in the eye and a good old fashioned handshake will go miles and, depending on the person, it may go further than graphs and reports. I realize that this thought is unlikely to be approved by either of you, but it is something I beleive. Maybe I feel that way because my education isn't quite on par with yours, but who's to say? But here's a question...would I automatically be a failure if I did not finish college? Or if I did, and didn't attend grad school? P.S. Yes, I am indeed tone deaf and rythmatically challenged, and quite likely correct-spelling challenged. Sorry. |
